Our Windows hosting partner has reported issues when connecting to mailboxes and webmail. Engineers are investigating this as a priority. Customers using windows hosting may be affected by this issue. Those customers using WordPress and MODx systems, or their own email will be unaffected.
Update 14:25PM
The email storage system is being replaced and customers are being migrated to the new platform. Many customers should now be able to access email again, any remaining customers unable to access email or webmail should be restored shortly. No email has been lost during this process.
Update 18:35PM
Email connectivity for all affected customers will be restored within the hour. In the meantime work will continue through the night to assess the reasons for the failure and to manage the contingency email system that customers are now using.
Update 20:00PM
All customer access to emails has been restored.
