We are implementing a new security system for FTP on all hosting accounts.
From the 15th of February all MODx hosted sites will have an FTP lock applied at the account level. This lock will need to be unlocked prior to you being able to upload files to your site using FTP.
The way you unlock is to log into your control panel and use the FTP unlock feature. You can choose how long to unlock for, for example 1 hour. After unlocking use your normal FTP software to upload your files.
Note that this ONLY applies to customers using FTP to upload documents, files or images to their website using FTP. Most customers do not tend to use this, so most will be unaffected by this change.
